Hi, I'm Jeanet Klein
When I joined Sekisui Alveo almost 27 years ago, my relationship with the product was, let’s say, limited. During my job interview I was asked what fascinated me about the material. I had to laugh and answered: “Honestly, nothing yet, but it sounds exciting.”
And that is still true today. It is exciting. Because this material is never really “finished”. There are always new applications, new markets and new ideas. And it simply never becomes boring.
This is my working world
I started in Internal Sales close to customers and close to everyday operations: handling orders, ensuring deliveries and making sure everything arrived at the right place at the right time. Six years later I had the opportunity to move into field sales. A step outside my comfort zone which turned out to be exactly the right step.
Things continued to evolve: Sales Manager Benelux, later Area Manager with team responsibility. Suddenly my perspective expanded beyond “my market”: Scandinavia and the Baltic countries were added, later France and Poland. Not as a burden but as a sign of trust. A sign that the company believed in us and that we would make it happen together.

Today I am responsible for North & Southwest Europe and lead a team of eight people. A team that not only delivers results, but truly sticks together.
We have experienced great periods and difficult ones. But we have always overcome them together. Because we trust each other. Because we support one another. And because, very importantly, we laugh together. For me that’s not just a bonus. It is energy.
Looking back, growth is not just a title on a business card. Growth is when you realise you are capable of more than you ever thought possible. That doesn’t happen because someone throws you in at the deep end. It happens because the people around you say: “Jump. We’re here.”
And that is pretty much what Sekisui Alveo is all about.
